A General Election right now would not further the cause of Scottish Independence
argues Craig Murray.
- A General Election before the Supreme Court decision would give the SNP an excuse to avoid calling it a Plebiscite.
- It would give the new SNP MPs another 5 year sinecure while doing nothing for Scottish Independence – after all, what have they done with the last 5 years?
- There has been virtually no preparation of the case for Scottish Independence from the SNP.
- Running an election without making your case is setting up for failure, and yet more jibes about ‘once in a generation’.
Craig Murray’s arguments are convincing but detailed – worth reading with a steaming cup of your favourite beverage and an alert mind.
